VFX Co-Ordinator (1214 views)

The Production Coordinator will assist the Producer and Line Producer in supporting the work of the Motion Graphics department, with a primary focus on VFX for Film.

We are looking for someone flexible and enthusiastic, who is looking for a busy, diverse and highly varied role at a rapidly growing ambitious young company. Territory would give you the opportunity to learn a lot about a vast array of media projects ranging from Film VFX, motion graphics, branding, commercials, immersive experience, installation, and new media; we are a flexible creative studio, into all kinds of computer generated art.


Assist the Producer to see work through the department, meeting internal and external deadlines.

Ensure production database in Shotgun is kept updated daily with notes and critical information before departing for the day.

Ensure the artists understand the goals and deadlines for their work.

Work with the Producer to ensure the overall schedule of work is on track.

Set up internal and external meetings and conference calls, taking notes and following up on information as necessary.

Communicate information quickly and succinctly to crew and in person as well as via e-mail.

Oversee client deliveries.

Oversee client receivables and organize those files on the server.

Other reasonable ad-hoc duties

Help to maintain a positive, upbeat and professional production office, being pro-active, solution-orientated, flexible and keen to learn.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience working with databases, preferably SHOTGUN

Understanding of VFX workflows, and ideally some experience in an Art Department or with a Motion Graphics team.

Excellent communication skills that ensure an accurate and efficient flow of information.

Previous experience of planning projects with artists, producers and clients.

A flexible and collaborative disposition, able to work with a creative team towards a common goal.

Highly organised, with strong time management skills.

Preferably some experience with Cinesync, FTP, Aspera.

Understanding of common digital image file formats and resolutions and prior exposure to Graphics/VFX Software.

Good knowledge of MS Office packages (incl Excel, Word and Project).

Familiarity with and enthusiasm for design, digital imagery, cinema, and visual effects.
